Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Modern Traders, we are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and on time. Please review our shipping policy below to understand how your products will reach you.
1. Order Processing Time
Standard Orders: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding Sundays and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
Bulk/Heavy Orders: Large orders for tiles or marble slabs may require 2-3 business days for secure packing and freight arrangement.
You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
2. Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your items and the delivery location.

3. Important: Heavy Item Delivery (Tiles & Marble)
For heavy construction materials like tiles, granite, and marble, we use specialized freight carriers. Please note the following:
Curbside Delivery Only: The delivery truck will unload the materials at the curb or street level nearest to your property.
Customer Responsibility: The delivery personnel will not carry materials up stairs, into elevators, or inside your home. Please ensure you have arranged for labor/help to move the materials indoors upon arrival.
Accessibility: Please ensure the delivery location is accessible by a delivery truck. If the road is too narrow, the driver will unload at the nearest accessible point.
4. Damages and Breakage
We take great care in packing fragile items like sanitaryware and tiles. However, in the rare event that your order arrives damaged:
Inspect Upon Arrival: Please inspect the shipment while the driver is present.
Note the Damage: If you see broken boxes or chipped stone, note it clearly on the delivery receipt/Bill of Lading before signing.
Take Photos: Take clear photos of the damaged items and the packaging.
Report Immediately: Contact us at moderntraders054@gmail.com or +91 92188-35188 within 24 hours of delivery.
We cannot accept claims for breakage if they are reported more than 24 hours after delivery.
5. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number (if applicable) or the driver’s contact details for local transport.

We do not currently ship internationally.
